On our recent trip to Joshua Tree we stopped by Venice Beach a scene of  independent individuals, existential ideas, and creative outlets to do some exploring.

Here are our Venice Beach essentials: Where to eat, What to see and Where to Shop!

We started each day by getting our morning caffeine fix at our favourite spot
Great White Shark. This cafe is Aussie owned so you know the coffee will be good and serves up the best brekkie + afternoon tacos too - you may spot celebrities hitting up this spot.
Right outside from this cafe is a beautiful rustic street side florist owned by New Zealander The Unlikely Florist - selling stunning arrangements from his van set up!
Venice Grind is another rad little cafe - located in a vibrant spot serving good coffee with funky hand drawn designs on their cups!

Some other good eating spots you must pop by while in Venice Beach are Flowerboy Project serving up coffee and food along with their cute shop full of flowers and other goodies.
Tasting Kitchen a hip, inventive spot for that has the best  Mediterranean dishes for dinner along with an incredible Cocktail Menu.
Felix an amazing Italian restaurant that you need to book at least 3 week in advance. Definitely worth the wait - the food is next level!
Butchers Daughter a quirky Vegetarian restaurant that also serves up a mean cheese board.

To find the best clothing spots and labels head along Abbott Kinney Blvd the best and probably our favourite shopping strip in the world. With the likes of; AUST, RAG AND BONE, STONE COLD FOX, PRINCESESPA to name a few.
The street running adjacent is Lincoln Blvd, which is another shopping go to spot it has a lot of up and coming boutiques opening up like Aussie brand BASSIK and USA FLYNN SKYE.
You can't visit Venice Beach without renting a bike to ride along the beach from Venice to Santa Monica pier.
Venice Beach is full of creatives and interesting people, so we recommend spending some time checking out the locals on the board walk.
If your keen to hit the water, we surfed at Venice Pier. Yep the water was freezing and you need a 3/4 but fun little right hands and a left if your game enough to surf through the pier itself!

Happy exploring Kivari Babes.

With Love.
