BTS: Behind The Scenes of our New Campaign
Come behind the scenes of our latest campaign, showcasing our new collection inspired by happiness and the simple things in life. With a street style theme, shot on the streets of Sydney, this collection is about joy from self expression, having fun in what you wear, where you go and what you do.
Shot on the streets of Surry Hills, Sydney, our collection was brought to life by unique structures, architecture and colourful walls, epitomising street style through urban landscapes and textures. Paying homage to the inspiration of the collection, the shoot embodies a feeling of self-confidence and expression, owning your style and being inspired by the world around you.
With a shoot timeline based on the movement of the sun, our location changed throughout the day. Backdrops of brick, vibrant coloured and tiled walls were used throughout the shoot to complement specific looks, alongside settings of street corners, intricate doorways and shadows from nearby trees. The day involved both photo and video, with our photographer Claire and videographer Jarred capturing the movement and intricacies of each silhouette. Known for her incredible street style and unique styling, we welcomed Jamie Nguyen as the face of the season, with her love for fashion encapsulating the inspiration for the collection.
The looks within the photoshoot consisted of vibrant prints, monochromatic denim staples, timeless occasion wear pieces and outerwear. The looks saw a combination of signature silhouettes in reimagined prints and colourways, alongside a series of new outerwear options, a new category for KIVARI. The looks from the shoot display a range of transeasonal styling options, with our model Jamie beautifully showcasing the way our wardrobes can exude our personalities as a form of self expression.
Each look was styled with bespoke KIVARI jewellery, hats, and accessories, including our recently launched leather boot range. Jamie adorned layered, voluminous hair with dewy, natural looking makeup complete with a subtle lip colour, enhancing her natural features.
