My Visual Currency x KIVARI
Captured in our home away from home, Byron Bay, we got together with local photographer Emily Yates of My Visual Currency & model Bee Cooper to bring you pieces from our latest collection Hermosa, re-imagined.
What was the inspiration behind the shoot?
Laid back minimalism. Showing that they are pieces you can throw on and look great in.
What is your favourite piece from our newest collection?
The Nell High Neck Midi
We are used to seeing you in front of the camera, what drew you to working behind the lens?
It was naturally transition for me as I started a family, and decided I wanted a bit more of a private “private” life. Also being behind the lens allows me to be more creative which at the end of the day is what really fuels me.
Favourite thing about living in Byron?
Going from the rolling hinterland hills to the turquoise blue ocean. It's such a gift to be able to choose between waterfalls, rivers and the ocean to swim in daily. And I love that its still very much a small community feel, but with most of the liveliness of the city !
